History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Zephan was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.
