Description: Standing 3'5", this man wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. He wears his golden hair up. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Burgell embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Burgell was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he is typically in his Herbalist uniform. His moppish chestnut hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Herbalist work with an outfit from a few towns over. Herbalist work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has achieved small success as a Herbalist.

Description: This malnourished man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He has no hair. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to end his boredom

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears suspenders and yellow workpants. His shirt is pastel, and he wears a heavy yellow leather apron most of the time. His fur, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around his ears. This brown eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Spice Merchant born in the past three hundred years. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Born to a Weaver, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and to be a weaver again
