History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Aust was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He is a Mason first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Skûn lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His childhood dream was to be a Miner, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
