History: Gardain lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Gardain was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gardain's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head, marred by beers. He has shaved his head bald. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady violet eyes.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He bought a hand crossbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
