The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His childhood dream was to be a Shipwright, but he was a colossal failure. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Adam will drive conversation. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
