Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He prefers to wear blue pants and tee shirts. His black hair is knotted and matted. His gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Peren wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Bard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Peren and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: He wears many layers of old clothing at all times, and carries pickaxes. His silver hair is greasy and uncared for. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he feels threatened by others

Description: He wears a green coat over a blue low-cut shirt, and a broad hat upon his head. He wears his purple hair up. He has a dull look in his red eyes.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. A freak accident while working with his Gardener father left him crippled. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and further expansion of business

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears a black cloak and cross-gartered grey stockings. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy white hair. He has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Description: This man is very fat, and tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He has done his best to style his white hair to look like a famous performer. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He got into the Interpreter business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Interpreter. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is wracked by social anxiety
