History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Corkitron was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Corkitron never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Borun was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Aristocrat, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Aristocrat in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. He struck the Bricklayer job and began his own company from there.
