History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Tethren alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Forcas grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Forcas. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
