History: He is a Maurezhi in disguise. He found a children's book about a Gnome Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Layabout. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Gilbert hails from a village terrorized by giants. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and wants to open a new tavern
