History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the east were limited. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
