History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hugh grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Medrash fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Gifted from a young age, Trym studied abroad. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.
