History: Gifted from a young age, John studied abroad. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
