History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Pikar hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting brigands, the young Pikar began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Modean took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shortbow and armor he uses now. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Modean never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Ogthrak was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he wants revenge against drow
