Description: An older man who wears a white cloak and cross-gartered grey stockings, he is not a threatening figure. His Stetson hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Halfling, and stands approximately 2'10". He wears a tight fitting green shirt and pants, and his gloved hand is found clutching a rapier. His chestnut hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His eyes are likewise gray.
Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a tattered pair of loose pastel pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His golden hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His eyes are likewise gray.
Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Dain was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Dain's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Dain and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Description: A 6'2" southern man, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He has wavy black hair. He has gleaming, smiling white eyes.
Personality: Therai is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.
History: Born to a Assassin, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Therai grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Therai. Being a Stableman kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

He carries a battered halberd and tarnished longbow as well. His golden hair, when down, is lengthy. His ears are large.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
