Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Cloud was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Cloud's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Banker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he's in love
