His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hadarai grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Description: With white face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he tends to wear a white poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length purple hair. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady red eyes.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Mantus is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
