History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Tanner. He became a Tanner soon after.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Sage. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. A freak accident while working with his Miner mother left him crippled. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Beggar.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and doesn't want to be a beggar and was forced into it by his family

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Alston was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
