History: Borun was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Pallabar was born with his mother's beautiful face. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Pallabar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. A gifted student he started as a Armorer, but he got bored and became a Interpreter. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Art is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Scribe. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear
