Description: He prefers to wear tan pants and tee shirts, and carries tridents. His brown hair is unkempt and raggedy. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Valafar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He has a large brown mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his black robe. He has silver hair. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are blue.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Ortegar took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up scythe and armor he uses now. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: To unite with his sister; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears tan trousers with grey and white striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts, and is pretty ugly. His red hair is thinning but still full. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.
History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: Money/treasure.
Flaws: Ugly, Mundane. Bonds: Rich, Nature, Criminal record. Occupation: Spy

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.
History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is harsh and unforgiving.
History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered orcs who tried to eat his hand. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
