History: Gifted from a young age, Gorfel studied abroad. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gorfel fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Dilettante. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Dilettante.

Motivation: To be a Bricklayer again.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. After a long history of fighting, Gimurt and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
