History: He was born into a rich family. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. History: Az-Rans was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Az-Rans was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Az-Rans decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Tanner kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A freak accident while working with his Mayor father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
