The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he has decided he is irredeemable
