History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Ralf was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and a rival would like him out of the picture
