History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. Paelias was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Barkeep. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ernest fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
