Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He is bald on top and has large auburn tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.
Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and a strong sense of loyalty to halfling people

Description: He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. He keeps his long black hair kept up in a rat tail. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.
Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: Many drow want him driven away; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He tends to wear a large yellow jacket. His auburn hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His eyes are a pleasant brown.
Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. The war was a terrible time for him, and Adelard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When Adelard reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels kind of lost in life

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Server arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Description: The light-skinned man stands 4'7" and wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with tan lining and desert motifs. With a patchy blonde beard and wild blonde hair. He is baby faced.
Personality: Heian is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he's looking for his big break
