History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
