History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Halander fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He hates Tieflings with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Forcas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Forcas never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and a strong sense of loyalty to tiefling people

Sporting a silver mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Wiggan embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Marshal kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
