History: Born in the south to a Bookbinder, Fragrant learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Layabout, but he was a colossal failure. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times, and he perpetually has his longsword ready. His scarlet crest is lengthy. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Shedinn enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. The war was a terrible time for him, and Charles does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Charles hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and revenge

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He has all his life been fascinated with poetry.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to goblins.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Bookbinder mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.
