Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears tan leather gloves, a tan jacket, and tight pants. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Dilettante they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Dyer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: He is a pot bellied northern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing green cape and mantle trimmed with soft white waves gently in the breeze. With bright brown hair and a scraggly beard. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born into a rich family. Oppleby was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Oppleby decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down, and carries flails. His brass crest has been sun bleached extensively. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His brown hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Weaver business.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Tûmûg was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: A 3'4" eastern man, he is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He wears a broad hat to hide his balding. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 38. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Ortegar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.
