History: Imsh was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Hoshû enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Hoshû hails from a village terrorized by giants. At some point he was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and revenge

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
