Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has achieved small success as a Miller.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a pastel top hat and pastel clothes. He has wavy golden hair. His eyes are violet.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Halander embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to end his boredom

Description: He is in excellent shape and is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His golden hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: An older man who is dressed in earthy colors with a black and violet handkerchief worn on his left side, he is not a threatening figure. His black crest, when down, is lengthy. This red eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Norkruuth was born the youngest of three triplets. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered giants who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.
