Description: This light-skinned male wears a black shirt, with a green mid length shorts with green tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His auburn hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. He is baby faced.
Personality: He is happy with his job as a Detective. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Rolf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Detective for the past few years.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has several tiny jet earrings on each ear.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: He stands about 3'3" and wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a tan coat. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His auburn hair is braided into rings. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: Fulbar hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has never given up on his painting dream.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
Ideals: Artistic, Gifted. Flaws: Ugly. Bonds: Adventurer. Occupation: Mercenary

Description: He wears a yellow collared shirt and grey pants. He accessorizes with a blue scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt, and carries longswords. He keeps his black hair in a pixie cut. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Burto fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and halfling compassion

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a kukri on his belt. He is physically well-built. He sports a flattop hair cut. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion; and he's looking for his big break
Ideals: Fighting, Persistence. Bonds: Adventurer, Immigrant. Occupation: Ploughman
