History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gildmak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: Rimmon speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the west were limited. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Tordek lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and to reunite with his absent father

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Leaf reached his early adolescence his Tabaxi father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it
