His father taught him the rudiments of the Shoemaker arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Rangrim was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rangrim fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
