While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Altho fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Through the years after Hugh was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Hugh's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
