History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: Cairn speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Cairn hails from a village terrorized by illithids. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Cairn was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Through the years after Seebo was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east.
