History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Quick alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now mingles about in high society.

He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: An older man who wears a fancy black suit, he is not a threatening figure. His long scarlet crest is drawn into a two foot long braid. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Patrin is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a Laborer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bowyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Patrin never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
