Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He works hard and plays hard.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Theriatis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
