Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Qualen embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Qualen was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: 5'8" and muscular, this northern man is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing blue cape and mantle trimmed with soft grey waves gently in the breeze. His black hair is thinning but still full. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: He wears green leather gloves, a green jacket, and tight pants. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His hair is silver and curly. His blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Lewis hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To protect his home; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His hair is dark red and very short. His white eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He hates Tieflings with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Modean was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Modean fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
