Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is dressed in earthy colors with a green and tan handkerchief worn on his right side. His chestnut hair and beard is wavy and long. His eyes are violet.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Heian grew up listening to his father's many stories. Heian was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Heian decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Heian was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a pastel shirt, with a tan mid length shorts with tan tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. His wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His amber eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Broce embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Broce and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This man is very fat, and is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Beggar. His silver hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears a green vest and prefers black and green shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His silver hair and beard is wavy and long. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Bounty Hunter and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC.

Description: This man stands a little under 6'7" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears blue trousers with brown and grey striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. His long beige fur is drawn into a two foot long braid. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to reunite with his absent father
