History: Hubert hails from a village terrorized by drow. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Doctor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Bernard took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up kukri and armor he uses now. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Knight responsibilities is difficult.
