History: Roger hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He now mingles about in high society.

His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
