Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Baern alone in the world.
