History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Barendd was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.
