Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: John was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Miner.

Motivation: Expand his business; and further expansion of business

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. A true patriot, Maagog would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.
