History: Anselm was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality
