Personality: He is a Ruler first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Kelter is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born in the north. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ruler. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Tarak was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Tarak's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has never given up on his poetry dream.
