History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Koeth was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Koeth's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Qemuel and his spouse have recently divorced.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
