Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born into a rich family. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
