Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He got into the Slave Trader business at a young age. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rathkran grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rathkran. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions
